Clarification on AIRF's PNM Item No.13/2012

Seniority of erstwhile CMA II who were in pre-revised grade Rs.5000-8000 of V CPC who were in service before 1.1.2006 vis-à-vis directly recruited CMA I recruited after 1.1.2006 in pre-revised scale of Rs.5500-9000 on merger of both the posts re-designated as CMA and replaced by PB 2 with GP Rs.4200 as recommended by the VI CPC

This item has simply been raised to clarify the Zonal Railways to adopt uniform policy on this issue. Perhaps you are mistaken while going through this item. This is not a demand to put the CMA I, possessing higher qualification, below CMA II with lower educational qualification. This item has simply been raised to issue instructions to the Zonal Railways to adopt uniform policy while interpolating seniority on merger of erstwhile two separate grades - Rs.5000-8000 and Rs.5500-9000, for which AIRF has already raised an issue to place Engineering Graduates and Post Graduates in GP Rs.4600 and has been agreed to by the Railway Board. Hope, this will clear you the position.

Grievances of Rajbhasha Staff and Stenographers

All India Railwaymen’s Federation has requested the Railway Board(Ministry of Railways) to address the grievances of the Stenographers, working over the Indian Railways at par with Rajbhasha Staff, in-house, as was agreed earlier by the Railway Board. The demand of the AIRF was that the Stenographers should be treated at par with the Stenographers working in the Railway Ministry.

Another Victory of Railwaymen

At the behest of General Secretary/AIRF, Railway Board has dissolved the committee formed earlier for Corporization of RCF. Com. Shiva Gopal Mishra strongly objected the move on 10.01.2012, due to storng objection of AIRF Railway Board has issued order to dissolve the committee on 16.01.2012.

AIRF brings another victory for Railwaymen

Long pending demand of granting annual increment to those whose date of increment fell between February to June 2006 w.e.f. July 2006 has been acceded to in the meeting of the National Anomaly Committee held on date 05.01.2011 at New Delhi.

On the pursual of AIRF Railway Ministry has forwarded the proposal of Grade Pay Rs 4800 for Apex Level supervisors to Ministry of Finance(Department of Expenditure). The total expenditure will not be more than Rs. 20 Crore. AIRF assures that matter will be pursued with MOF.
